9 Mile Run: Brownell - Shades Creek Greenway

Wow! 8:33 Pace. I almost think I must have recorded the time wrong. I will have to follow up with Judy to see if her timing matches. Yes, I ran with Judy again. We started late, 8:00 am, as I was at the Schaeffer Crawfish Boil until 11:00 pm. What a show! I saw Better Than Ezra, P.O.D. and Live. It was a great jam. No mp3 player for the run today.

I got a small reminder that we do, in fact, live in a small world. I do a group exercise class twice a week. Yesterday, I noticed that a woman in the class had a "finisher" shirt from the recent Mercedes Marathon and 1/2 Marathon. I ran the race. I noticed something about a special finisher shirt on the website after the race. I didn't get one. This woman was wearing one. So, I asked her where she got it. She thinks it was in the finish line, but wasn't positive. Well, here's where the world gets small. Today, this woman, Sue, caught up to Judy and I as we were running. She and Judy started talking about the fact that they live in the same neighborhood. And, guess what? Yes, this is the same woman in the group exercise class. Go figure!
