10/24/07: 8 Mile Run: Neighborhood

This was another evening run in a light rain. I listened to the Daily Source Code during which Adam Curry interviewed Ron Paul (republican candidate for president). It was a interesting interview. Ron sure seems like a straight forward and honest person. I don't think I am won over as far as thinking he should be president, but he definitely seems removed from the usual smooth and seemingly rehearsed, less than genuine politician we so often see. His positions were well reasoned and articulately stated. Although, I think he views our position in the world in a more isolationist mode than I. But, we do need to be much less of the world's police and support infrastructure than we are today. So, I am not endorsing Ron, per se. But, I thoroughly enjoyed the interview and Adam is endorsing him.
